COT - Meeting notes - February 09, 2017 - Certification Operations Team

The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on February 09, 2017 on Glip.

In attendance: Patrick Jungbluth, Luca Marzo, Oscar Ortiz, Todd Woodward, Pablo Pantoja, Arjen Schrijvers.

Absents: Chris Keen, Hector Mansilla, Richard van Tilborg.

Short report from the steering meeting on tuesday.
Team extensively discussed about internal structure and responsibilities, asking a more stable commitment to all the members.
Team will concentrate workforces on applications coming from JUGs and JoomlaDays in order to stay on track with the overall strategy for the JCP this year.
Patrick and Luca invited all the team to vote for the new Team Leader for the Joomla! Certification Team.
Patrick stepped down as TL for the Certification Operations Team and team arranged a new internal election.
Luca has been elected TL for COT.
Oscar will continue serving as Assistant Team Leader for COT.
Changes will be reflected soon in the Volunteers Portal.
Arjen is now regular member of the COT.
