General points

Exam sessions:

There have been no exams held in the last month. At this moment there are no new exams planned.. 

Website and Exam platform

Shika (new exam platform):
Preliminary tests with the most recent update from TechJoomla are positive. We are now able to test the other exam functionality needed to migrate to our new exam platform. 

Sandbox: Upgrade Moodle from 3.4 to 3.9.x, on PHP7.4 and MySQL 5.7:(new exam platform) 
Initial tests on the new configuration seem positive. We will continue to test this over the next few weeks, to confirm this configuation is fully usable for any upcoming exams

Operations and Marketing
There are no updates from the Operations and Marketint team (mainly due to the lack of exams).

J!4 exam(s)
We are now starting preparations for the J!4 exam(s), we need first to decide how we will write and review the exam questions before we can begin actually writing the them.
The J!4 Administrator Exam should be available approximately 6 months after the J!4 release date, this gives the JCP team enough time to complete the questions and answers based on the released version (including any initial bug fixes). This period will also give users sufficient time to use and learn J!4 and to prepare for the exam.
We will be shortly looking for volunteers to help us (re)write the Administrator exams Q&A's, if you're interested please contact us!
