NOTES

EOS Plugin Status

• Released in 4.4.0 Alpha 1 - as quickicon plugin - can be tested with manual patch of the hardcoded date in plugins/quickicon/eos/src/Extension/Eos.php line 42

• The EOS Notification will be a banner on the J4.4 home dashboard (like in J3.10) - (note: the banner could be a module or a plugin - developers will decide, ACL should work)

• When J4.4 is EOS after October 2025, the Joomla update quickicon will change the color and there will be the text "5.0.0 Available - Update now!"

• There will be no change on the update page after you click the Joomla update quickicon when J4.4 is EOS.

• The banner will have the same functionality with snoozing, as in J3.10

Release 4.3

• 4.3.2 released. Everything ok

Release 4.4

• 4.4.0 Alpha 1 released with some smaller obstacles - mainly caused by the security patches. Now everything is clean.
