This meeting of the Joomla! Compliance Team has been held on January 29, 2020 at 16.30 CET on Glip.

In attendance: Achilleas Papageorgiou, Luca Marzo, Sander Potjer, Roland Dalmulder, Alkaios Anagnostopoulos, Donata Kalnenaite.

Discussion outline

• While the cookie policy doc is ready to be published, the team discussed the status of the cookie script. Alkaios has committed changes and Sander is about to make review and test/fix some issues that were reported. After Alkaios’ request Luca shared a Google Analytics (GA) code for additional testing. Sander and Alkaios test the weekend the set up on the two test properties and open the PR on Github. Team would like to thank Rowan for opening the GA code. 

• The latest days Sander shared with the Webmasters & JSST teams the SSO/IdMS for testing. Team would like to thank them for the feedback that they received. Sander proposed that the team should start planning the next steps regarding the implementation of the SSO/IdMS on the production environment.  

• Roland shared with the team that it would be great if also other departments like Marketing could contribute to the UAT phase.  

• Donata, Luca and Achilleas discussed the status of the Privacy Policy doc. Donata proposed a call to better prepare the final changes on the doc. Luca to make a final review and Donata to finalize anything needed.

• Luca shared with the team that he has prepared an article for the  JCM. Achilleas made a reminder regarding the two articles by Reino that were prepared many months ago. The one is ready to be published.  

Join the Compliance Team

The Joomla Compliance Team is an active and dynamic team that is currently involved in several different tasks that include legal compliance, privacy related reports, design thinking, development, document reviews and decision making, privacy consultancy, Cross-CMS collaborative activities and more. The Joomla Compliance Team is looking for new volunteers.
