The Joomla Resource Directory team is up to date with everyone that has submitted a listing to the directory.  What does this mean exactly?

When the JRD was relaunched it was decided that rather than simply rolling all of the listings from the old directory into the new, everyone would be required to resubmit their information.  While creating additional work, it was a unique opportunity to "refresh" all of the information, purge any out of date information, and make sure everyone was conforming to standards for community involvement and trademark compliance.

The practical impact of the decision to start fresh was that hundreds of applications needed to be screened in a relatively short window.  It took several months, but late last night a dedicated group of volunteers pushed through the last outstanding application.

If you submitted an applicaiton and your organization is not listed, please check to see if we sent you information on what in your application should be updated or corrected.  If you have not heard from us or feel there is an error, please open a ticket at the JRD help desk.

I want to give a special thank you to Jessica Dunbar for helping plan and implement redirects to maintain SEO from the old directory.

I especially want to thank everyone on the JRD team that took extra time to help with huge initial surge of applications.  In the last two weeks there was an exceptional special effort from Dawn, Ron, Chad, Erico, Duke, and Søren (apologies to anyone I am missing).
