The Advisory Board members (3-7 people) gives input and advice to the Board of Directors,
based on topics raised by anyone in the Joomla! Community including the Board themselves.

The Advisory Board is an independent group without voting rights in the organization,
but with the right to put an item on the agenda within the Board of Directors meeting.

Anyone within the Community can raise topics to the Advisory Board, which allows to put focus on issues of great importance.
To add an item to the agenda of the Board of Directors there needs to be a majority vote with a valid quorum in an Advisory Board meeting.
