1. Adam Melcher is looking for people to re-activate the Certification Team.
2. PHPStorm licenses from JetBrains - Sigrid contacted them and asked for renewal of our 50 Open Source licenses

Bug Squad  Team (Martin Kopp)

Meeting held 28.4.2025, only 3 participants. Discussed a few issues. We will use https://github.com/orgs/joomla/projects/5 (Issue Cleanup) more in the future to help manage and decrease number of issues. We will try to close more issues.

CMS Release Team (Benjamin Trenkle)

Started: Motion  Elect Stefan Wendhausen & Harald Leithner as Release Managers for Joomla 6.1 (PROD2025/002) - passed

 

Joomla! Accessibility and Usability Team (Christiane Maier-Stadtherr)

The accessibility Plugin becomes more and more important. We want to keep it in the core but it needs some work.
Martina and Viviana will check the status quo. We will ask Brian Teeman if he can support it and can re-activate his latest PRs.

CMS Maintenance Team (Robert Deutz)

Software Stack for J6, a general rule for PHP versions as well as other Software Stack versions were discussed.
Harald Leithner will prepare a motion..

Automated Testing Team (Allon Moritz)

PR has landed to additionally check the error log file after each test for hidden errors

Documentation Team (Herman Peeren)

Coming weeks meetings with the documentation team are planned. Also organising volunteers for documentation (a.o. From JDay USA). Also some contacts to incorporate some existing course material for Joomla into the documentation.
